Dear Self

Dear Me,

I know how hard you’ve worked to become the person you are today. I know the silent battles you fought when nobody noticed, the nights you stayed strong even when your heart felt tired, and the moments you kept going simply because giving up was never truly an option for you.

I want you to remember this: you are not behind in life. You are unfolding in your own beautiful timing.

You carry so much light inside you — the kind that makes people feel warmth, comfort, adventure, and hope. Your soul was never meant for small living. It was made to wander, to dream loudly, to love deeply, and to experience the beauty of this world with open eyes and an open heart.

Thank you for not giving up on yourself. Thank you for surviving the versions of you that once thought they wouldn’t make it this far. Thank you for continuing to believe in love, kindness, and new beginnings.

I hope you keep choosing yourself, even when it feels unfamiliar. I hope you continue to romanticise your life — the sunsets, the road trips, the mountains, the stillness, the coffee mornings, the healing, the laughter that hurts your stomach, and the peace you’ve worked so hard to find.

You deserve the kind of love that feels safe, honest, calm, and genuine. But most importantly, you deserve your own love first.

So here’s a promise: I will stop doubting my worth. I will stop shrinking to fit places I’ve outgrown. I will speak kindly to myself. I will celebrate how far I’ve come. And I will trust that the life meant for me is already finding its way to me.

No matter what happens, I will always come home to myself.

With love, Me
